RoomingFields, Lda., based in Lisbon, Portugal, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR.

1. Data we collect

• Booking requests: name, email, phone, requested dates, number of guests, the stay you are interested in and your message.
• Correspondence: the content of emails you exchange with us.
• Technical data: basic server logs needed to operate and secure the site.

2. Why we use it

To respond to booking requests, arrange stays with the relevant owner, answer questions and meet legal and accounting obligations. Our legal bases are steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interest in running the platform, and, where required, your consent.

3. Sharing with hosts

To arrange a stay we share the details necessary to fulfil your request — typically name, dates and party size — with the host of the property you choose. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

4. Retention

Booking-request data is kept for up to 24 months after your last contact. Accounting records are kept for the period required by Portuguese law. Server logs are rotated regularly.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority (CNPD).

6. Cookies

This site uses only the strictly necessary storage required for the pages to function. We set no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
